Pillgwenlly and Plas Madoc Join the Programme

1 Jun 2016

We’re delighted to announce that two more communities have agreed to be part of Invest Local.

Plas Madoc in Wrexham and Pillgwenlly in Newport are the latest communities to come on board, making a total of eight Welsh communities now involved in the programme.

Pillgwenlly – locally known as Pill – is a multi-cultural, inner-city community to the south of Newport city centre. Plas Madoc is a housing estate seven miles from the centre of Wrexham.

We’re really looking forward to working with these communities and seeing what the local people identify as their priorities for the local area.

To keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the areas, visit the Facebook pages for Invest Local Pillgwenlly and Invest Local Plas Madoc.
