Part of the ethos of Invest Local is to start from what’s good in the area, and build on the strengths that each community already has.

In Hubberston and Hakin, the play area has been completely designed and managed by the local community, and is used as a meeting place for families in the area.

Here, we meet local resident Julie Hawkins, who tells us about how Invest Local is giving a boost to this vital community asset.
