Llywnhendy is a village on the edge of Llanelli in Carmarthenshire. Around 4,500 people live in the area. It is an old village with strong industrial roots. The (now closed) steel-works in nearby Bynea was a major employer until the decline of the steel industry. Over 25% of the community can speak Welsh.
