Sian is our Invest Local Officer based in South West Wales.
Sian has nearly 20 years’ experience of working within community settings. Sian’s previous role was working in Community Education and Development in Northland, New Zealand. Whilst there Sian predominantly worked with isolated Maori groups in supporting development through education in culturally appropriate ways. This involved facilitating and co-ordinating programmes based on community needs.
Prior to this, Sian was a project worker in homelessness and supported housing in Cardiff and London. Sian has also held positions as a youth worker, careers advisor and an employment development worker for people with disabilities.
